Jordan Communications & Professional Services Group (JCPSG) is a diversified provider of specialized marketing & management solutions for non-profits, associations, businesses, and government agencies.
Mr. Emmett V. Jordan is the principal & founder of JCPSG. Skilled in marketing, communications, and administration, Mr. Jordan has extensive professional experience providing planning, development, and creative services to non-profits, associations, and businesses.
He has worked with a wide variety of educational, health, cultural, and social service organizations, including:
- Smithsonian Institution
- University of Maryland – College Park
- Plainfield Health Center
- United Negro College Fund
- Saint Michael’s Medical Center
He is involved in numerous civic and community service activities, including board memberships on the Greenbelt Advisory Planning Board, the Greenbriar Condominium Association (Phase I), the Eleanor & Franklin Democratic Club, and the Greenbelt Community Foundation - which he currently chairs. Outside of Greenbelt, he has served as a Prince Georges County Election Judge, and has been an active volunteer leader for the Greater Washington Urban League and with Greater DC Cares.
In November of 2009, Mr. Jordan was elected to the City Council of Greenbelt, Maryland, where he has serves in the capacity of "Mayor Pro Tem".
Mr. Jordan was a long-time member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, serving on the Washington DC Chapter Board for five years (including a term as Vice President for Communications) and on the NJ Chapter Board for 6 years. He held AFP's “CFRE” (Certification Fund Raising Executive) designation for 7 years.
He holds a degree in Urban Planning from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning. He spent 5 years studying liberal arts and music at Morehouse College and at the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music.
